FAQs
What's the difference between anti-wrinkle and filler?
Antiwrinkle is a muscle relaxant, we use it to reduce muscle movement in strategic locations to relax existing wrinkle and prevent new ones from forming.
Filler is exactly that, it fills to change the appearance of facial structures and reduce fine lines, wrinkles and even scars. Filler may be used to replace volume that has been lost as a result of ageing or weight loss, or to add fullness and definition as desired.
All injectable treatments are customised using a thorough consultation and a keen aesthetic eye in order to maintain genuine expression while achieving your individual goals.
Who is a suitable candidate for treatment?
Cosmetic injectables are not suitable for pregnant woman or breastfeeding mothers. Also, some health conditions may not be compatible with cosmetic injectables. A consultation is always required to determine if a treatment is right for you.
How much does it cost?
A thorough consultation is always required to obtain an accurate quote. The figures below may be used as a guide.
How long long will my treatment last?
Anti-wrinkle treatments last up to 5 months. Some people get a little longer and others a little less, it depends on factors like metabolism and anatomy. Muscles are conditioned with consistent treatment and some clients find that they get longer out of a single treatment as time goes on.
Dermal filler generally lasts between 1 and 2 years, again depending on the individual. Firmer products used in cheeks for example, may last much longer again and some people find that smaller quantities are required to maintain their results over time.
Are there any risks?
No medicine comes without risk, even if the risks are minor or rare. A formal consultation with your practitioner prior to any procedure will clearly outline risks that you should consider and you will absolutely be given an opportunity to ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable with your procedure.
